First off, thank you for starting this debate. I enjoy having thoughtful discussions about this topic. However, both of the points you have made range from incredibly misleading to just flat out false. While some games do reward "killing" it's not to reward slaughter, rather, it's to reward following the rules of the game, an important part of game design. As for the "video games cause violence" argument, it has been debunked my most reputable researchers. Sources below in the comments. Thank you

Oh, how I wish I was in this debate. Something I need to point out is that yes, video games can be violent, but it depends on your perspective of violent, or how you tolerate it. Unless you guys we're referring to video games causing violence, then I would understand it better. However, I think every gamer can agree on that topic being beaten to death, buried, dug up, p***ed on, and the beaten again. Also, can you guys be a little more clear on your points. I don't want to be scratching my head in confusing.
