From onset this 'so called fight on drugs is but a mere fight against the vulnerable
JuliusMaximus

Con

The war on drugs is a fight for the poor, not against them. The poor are the primary users of illegal substances, the same as a poor man is likely to go out and drink his troubles away. It provides an escape, a release from his hard and monotonous life[1]. That being said, the poor would benefit the most from the downfall of drugs. It would allow these people, who many times can barely feed their families, much less do so while buying drugs to once again support their children and enable them to have a bright and prosperous future.

You should have had 3 rounds. It's easier trust me, I've learned from my own experience. Also especially this subject. There a lot that can be said about this. Good luck though with whom you debate. The next time though, make sure you have more than 2 rounds.

Good luck on your first debate.

When having a two round debate, it's best to present an argument on the first round. Otherwise con counters your points, and there is no chance to defend them. (some people try to set 2 round traps, but that's a whole other matter)
