Since my opponent hasn't provided any definitions, I'll provide my own.

Idol- Any winner of the TV show "American Idol" i.e., David Cook.

And people worship him because he is a sexy beast.

BoP met.

Con

I am speaking about having other Gods and you are not supposed to woship people because they are famous worship only God there is nothing to be defined
MassiveDump

Pro

Personally, I do worship God. However, some people prefer to worship David Cook, and I have proven that they do so with a reason. My opponent did not counter this, but rather tried the change the resolution in the comments.

Vote Pro.

Con

Hence the reason I am asking why do people do it and you have not proven your point all you are saying is they do it when I am telling you it is wrong it is written in the bible
MassiveDump

Pro

"all you are saying is they do it when I am telling you it is wrong it is written in the bible"

False. My opponent never said that in his resolution, nor in round one. Therefore, all my opponent is doing is trying to change the resolution in the middle of the debate.

Con asked why people worshipped idols. I interpreted that as him saying "There is no reason why people worship idols."

I provided a respectable argument, and even if it wasn't respectable, Con never presented a Contradiction, nor a disagreement of any kind.

The resolution stands.

I don't even know what you are debating... What is your position? Do you intend to prove that "there is only one God"? That is the only claim you have made so far...

If that's it, I would change the Topic wording to: "There is only one God"

Reasons for voting decision: Pro was clever, annoying but clever. Con attempted to ask a question, and then not even give support to it as if it were a resolution. Oh and pro did not distract the arguments with failing at punctuation... Oh dear, it looks like someone already has won this debate over con, even when his round 1 opening included the evidence that they could not. Poor con.

Reasons for voting decision: Well... Pro provided a definition of idol that Con didn't dispute, and couldn't dispute, because no R1 definitions were made. Pro used this definition to provide a reasoning for worshiping an "idol". Con didn't do a good job of answering it.
