Welcome to Debate.org! We're getting a lot of new arrival recently. Just a tip here; grammar is one of the standards that voters use, so I'd improve mine if I were you.

Now, I'll accept burden of proof on this one, and begin;

Children are often not trusted because they often lie or act without responsibility, and often cause harm to themselves or others without parental support. Children must earn the trust of their parents through acts of maturity and responsibility.

Awaiting your response,

Duncan.

Most likely prop has forgotten about the debate, it happens to everyone. Please do not judge on this absence, voters.

I don't know why she'd put 5 rounds for a debate if she wasn't going to show up.

I believe the correct topic should be "Parents should trust their children". The way you've phrased it is ambiguous as to which side is arguing what.

Reasons for voting decision: Duncan, you are a man/woman after my own heart. Grammar to Con for exceedingly obvious reasons. Args to Con for actually providing some. Neither side used sources. Pro loses conduct for forfeiting but Con also loses conduct for the "I'd improve my grammar if I were you" line (as much as I agreed with it and as much as I would probably have said it myself).
