Religion should be allowed in public without judgment

-1st amendment
-The cross is a symbol of hope
-Biblical teachings

I believe that religion should not be allowed in public, because not everyone is the same. But on the other hand, I agree if there is a cross in public, if along with it is other religion's symbols, such as the quaran for Islam and the Bhudda for Bhuddism

This is interesting to me. Why would one set of ideas be above scrutiny? We should judge all ideas, and outside of religion it is the norm.

If you are going to air your dirty laundry in public... Expect people to say something. While we have the right to free speech, we do not have the right to be coddled from offense. Your particular set of beliefs/ideas do not entitle you to special privilege. If you don't want to be judged for your ideas, don't bring them to the public square. If you truly think what you believe is correct, then it should have the ability to stand up to judgment.

Your first amendment point... The first amendment gives you the right to express your religion, and others the right to call it ridiculous. Your second and third point are just your religious (xian) beliefs, they have nothing to do with why we should give special treatment to those who believe things on bad evidence. If your skin is so sensitive, don't go outside in daylight. Don't expect everyone to carry umbrellas over you to keep you from irritation.

In other words... Get some "No More Tears" shampoo and grow up. Discussing and scrutinizing ideas is how adults filter out nonsense. If you can't handle that, keep it to yourself.
