Video games are not bad at all; it is the person who plays them. It has been scientifically proven that video games do not have any negative effects towards people and that it solely depends on the person playing the game for it to have negative effects. There have been many myths about video games and that many studies claim false statements about video games. These so called studies are not reliable, biased, and haven't been tested accurately enough to prove anything. You should play video games yourself or do some research before dissing video games. So it's okay for me to watch TV for hours on end but not okay for me to play for many hours? You must be joking; what were you thinking? There are some video games that are inappropriate and have negative effects, but that's why there's something called the rating system. It rates every game based on the content to pervent children from accessing violent or inappropriate games. Video games do not cause children to commit bad things; only the inmature or naive do these kind of things! If you think video games are so bad, then you should moderate the time and content that is allowed for children when playing video games. There are even parental controls for video games if you've never noticed. Video games require high intelligence to beat and only dunces cannot beat it. They teach many life skills that can help you get through life such as hand-eye coordination and multi-tasking. I can go on forever about how video games are not as bad as they seem, but I will do that in the comment section at the request of any anti-video gamers.
