Don't worry Art section, I haven't forgotten you!

This is a great video.

It also makes me wonder about all the unused melodies. We should use technology to tap into that.

Who is this guy? He is awesome and that was really enjoyable. I love it when my mind gets unexpectedly blown.

He's right when he says that while realistically, given the upper limits of what's possible, we won't run out of music, the new always seems to draw on and remissness with the old. It makes sense; music is made either to entertain or to make profit and both rely on some measure of familiarity.

Besides, the vast majority of what is possible wouldn't be enjoyable. Think about the tones you hear every day that annoy or hurt you. I certainly wonder about what music will look like in the far future, though whatever changes they have will occur gradually.

Agreed, but now that I have watched all his videos I'm interested in, waiting for new ones is quite the pain.

Given the Musical scale is infinite up and down in steps, and that the chord list of each scale is staggering....with infinite theoretical ability to merge being also infinite...and that to be classed as music you don't even need adhere to the classical theory that originally defined music...No...WE WILL NEVER RUN OUT
