You know how much I love classical music, but my God, this is beautiful. What happened to music? It's as if people care less about touching melodies and more about fun dance music now. The real depth and substance of the whole medium has been abandoned (with only a few exceptions).

Oh lawdy, yet another one of THESE threads, lol.

I love it all, mate, including 50s music and earlier. But to be honest, I don't see music at all being worse than "back in the day." If anything, I would argue it's all even better today.

yeah, for some reason as I was listening to it and typing the thread I totally forgot all the other arguments about "back in the day music" and the fact that were a lot of meaningless party songs in the 50s too, but that only the best endure through the times etc.... So, I'll drop the argument, and just leave this song as something moving for everyone to appreciate.

The 50s music is okay, but is not my favorite.

The 50s and early 60s was the best era of "modern" (in other words, not classical) music ever. Here's some of the best stuff:
I'm becoming less defined as days go by, fading away, and well you might say, I'm losing focus, kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself.

Dude it was a typo! Like "off" doesn't even make sense!

Also I understand that it was featuring the Andrew Sisters! I was just saying that I love the Andrew Sisters!
