When I saw your post (Youtube hadn't loaded), my first instinct was, 'I should suggest Rondo Cappriccioso to the OP' :P

Never heard miles davis like this before. Its both sad and upbeat, lol.

What do you mean sad and upbeat? Its slow tempo but written in the major key. There's more! So What was written in D-Dorian :P But my favorite was Milestone.
