So I like Poetry quite a lot. I hardly write anymore but here is one of the first poems I have written.

The Foxhole Prayer
The soldier sits in the foxhole covered in dirt and grime
praying to God for committing the act of a crime
He prays to God every night in the dust dirt and grime

He asks God everyday why he must sit where others lay dead
praying that God will help him back to his bed
God simply tells him be glad you"re not dead because
his hole is the closest thing to a bed
God has to give

As the soldier lays in his hole full of dust dirt and grime
glad he has that cross around his neck
glad God has his back
because in war there are no Atheist in foxholes
were the soldier lays in the dust dirt and grime

What type of poetry do you like and which one of your poems are your favorite that you have written?

Actually, the poetry was great. The only thing I've noticed is the grammar and you can be very critics to your own right. I understand reading is much easier than writing, but if you have a desire to write you need to put your heart into your works. I encourage you to exercise your writing skills more I believe you can be better and famous in this field. Keep it up! :)

Yeah, I like to write it. Reading it is boring.

I agree. I spend a lot of time writing it, but I get easily bored actually reading it.
