Being a trumpet player, I'm biased, but if I had to choose something other than trumpet I'D be hard pressed to limit it to one. I would probably go with the trombone because of smooth baritone of its voice, and the range of musical styles it is comfortable. The French horn has a very distinct and beautiful voice, as well.

Can you tell I like brassy music?!

The organ and bassoon. There're two of my favorite instruments.
I'm becoming less defined as days go by, fading away, and well you might say, I'm losing focus, kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself.

Two good picks indeed.
If you are interested in organs, you should take the time to watch this video about the organs at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

This video really is quite fascinating ^.^

Well, in middle/high school bands, yes they do. But when played by a professional, they both sound amazing. o3o

Hahaha, maybe played by a novice, but in the hands a professional jazz player, it can be quite impressive.

Hmmn , what an interesting concerto. I really do admire the small sized orchestra, it hints my brain of a kind of baroque (is it me, or is there a harpsichord?... ). Also, It looks that clarinet is quite small compared to the soloist... do you think it is a soprano clarinet? Either way, at 3:00, I really do like the interesting use of staccato arpeggios, that was cool. I like the first couple bars of the 2nd movement.

Thanks. Even in "popular" music, I like organs. They're very underrepresented in modern popular music. And thanks for the video. That was very good. Have you listened to Bach's The Art of Fugue? It can be played on many instruments, but it is one of my favorite classical pieces for the organ.

Clarinet players are weak. They need to have a firm position, yes, but they can only play small mouth-piece based instruments. If I were to start from the clarinet, it would have been very hard for me to play the tenor sax and all. Baritone saxophone is the hardest, and the most rewarding of all the concert band saxophones.

I like soprano, alto, and tenor. Each of them have qualities and sound I can appreciate. When it comes to saxophone players, Kenny G is my man. So I guess I prefer his which is usually soprano or tenor.

The euphonium imo, it has a very beautiful dark/mellow sound and is probably the closest brass instrument to the voice (tenor in particular) in terms of sound quality. There are plenty of other wind instruments that produce an amazing sound when in the right hands however.

I'm a bit biased in this one but I'm going to say it anyway, trombone the first instrument I learned how to play.

French Horn. It's generally recognised as being the warmest, softest, deepest, loveliest wind instrument to listen to. I played it in my 9th and 10th years at college. It was a step up from the trumpet, which can make some really warm and fuzzy sounds. It's just so damn mellow. I could cry.
