What if someone assumed the role of a well-known character from fiction, cinema or literature, and used it while performing philanthropic work? Meanwhile, having an ideology shaped by the personality of the character they were portraying? How charismatic would they have to be to survive the media?

You mean like dressing up as Santa and handing out gifts?

How charismatic would they have to be to survive the media?
