Which one would you choose? Why?

My choice is the piano. It's a lot more fun to play.

My preference is the guitar; I am biased though in that I have always played it yet very little piano. In the end though both instruments require the same sort of discipline and yes, fun to play, its just that the guitar is not as automated as the piano, you have to finger frets and hit strings with fingers but that doesn't take too long to get over. What I like is the guitar looks cool to play and you can get so many different sounds, especially from an electric.

I'm biased towards piano since I've played it before and taken lessons and crap (and never really played guitar). I do like the sound of piano more, usually. Idk why, but the sample guitar you hear on commercials or something usually annoys me too, though that may just be because I hear it a lot.

Obviously the piano is better or obviously I would choose the piano? (Or both?) :)

I think that good piano pieces sound beautiful. But good guitar playing just strikes a chord (ha) in me.

As for which is superior: neither - especially in music with both piano and guitars.

I'm gonna have to go with the piano. I too think its more fun to play, think it conveys more feeling, and I LOVE the look on peoples faces when you get good at it. The piano, I don't know there is something about it. Its less of a jam, and more often feels complete on its own. I love rock and the guitar is a necessity, but the piano adds so much depth, so much heart to a piece in my opinion, and its SOOO versatile.
