This is a topic about how Bach is the bombdiggity, and totally not overrated.

If you have a lot of time, listen to this.

If only the piano was around in Bach's time, who knows what he would have done with it.. Then again, there are few things as epic as a giant church organ. I don't use the word "epic" to describe things often.

Agreed to the fullest.

His counterpoint is really quite genius.

And don't forget his Brandenburg Concertos.

My personal favorite is the Double Violin Concerto...

You can't beat both Perlman and Stern here:

Brandenburg Concerto number 4 is one of my favorite pieces of music.

This is coming from a guy who gets off on Stravinsky, and is mostly into modern classical.

Bach was ahead of his time. Some of his stuff(especially his fantasias) sounds like they could have been composed in the romantic period.

Yeah, except this isn't a topic about Beethoven.

Go make some Justin Beiber comments on Youtube now.

IF you are going to pick something by Beethoven, pick something mind blowing like THIS

Beethoven made the best music when he was deaf.

That might not have been the best video to post, I put that there without listening, so forgive me if there are errors or the sound quality sucks.

Bach is so much better than Beethoven or Mozart, though Haydn comes close.
