Challenge to a Debate

I'm thinking of doing a couple debates that would be like a trial on behalf of someone that i think was treated unfairly by history.

I haven't exactly determined how this sort of debate would unfold, but i would like it to be a court room-ish style.

So far the two that i am considering mounting a defense for are:
Benedict Arnold - although hard source material is sketchy.
Pope Pious XII - accused of being Hitler's pope.

There's a lot of work that goes into this sort of a debate, and i am just wondering if there would be interest in this. I've tried other debates that were a little different before, and the interest was lackluster.

I don't want to start one of these debates, leave it open and someone half halfheartedly accept it and eventually forfeit. If you are interested PM me, and if you have any thoughts on this that could be constructive, please post in this thread.
