Stuff like that happens to me all the time in Opera. It's probably your connection, not the site or browser.

If it's my connection, then why is every other browser working fine?

My internet connection is faster than the vast majority of the US according to Speedtest.net.

Dunno, but there's more to internet connections than speed.

Can you explain how an internet connection would work for one browser but not for another? I'm not finding your explanation plausible.

I use Chrome and Firefox about 50/50, don't hate. =P

I'm having a lot of trouble with the Blizzard game downloading client. When ever it is running, I can use Facebook, but Google, Youtube and pretty much every other site I can think of don't work.
It might be a conflict between other bandwidth chewing software; do you download torrents?

I hate on everything that isn't Firefox. Only because FF4 works so damn good. It's like the stole the nice streamlined way Chrome works (which I respect, but find too simplistic) and Firefox'd it.

I do download torrents, but not in the past two days.

I still haven't upgraded to FF4, too lazy I suppose.

Dunno, if you've tried all the usual shiz (restart modem, restart computer, reinstall software, etc etc...) then all you're left with is the ol' delete System32 solution. ^_-

You could try to clear your cache, maybe that's screwing something up.

The only trouble I have with chrome is when posting, sometimes I click 'Add post' and it load-freezes. So I hit the back button to go back to the thread and my poet is there.
