If we are going to have a debate board, we need educated voters. Debates should not be won on simple logical fallacies and ignorance. I seriously think that this site needs to change soon, it is no wonder membership is dwindling.
DDO's marketing strategy has certainly paid off just not sure I agree with the target market: http://tinypic.com...

Has anyone seen that movie where the guy gets a bomb strapped to him and he has a set amount of time to rob a bank? I kind of wanted to see it, but it got awful reviews from what I remember... so I don't know.

And it doesn't seem like there are a ton of good movies out right now.

Unfortunately not. I'm not caught up on the movies so I need to refresh my memory first so the plot actually makes sense. :(

I know what you mean. I skipped Deathly Hallows 1, so I have to see that 1st. I hope deathly hallows 2 hasn't left theaters yet.

After reading a little bit, that actually sounds like a pretty good movie, might end up watching that.

I haven't seen any of the Harry potter movies though I'm told I look like Ron weasely. Has anyone seen Reservoir Dogs though? Great movie, recommend it to anyone. Speaking if Tarantino though does anyone know when kill bill 3 is coming out?

I've never, since I don't usually watch movies that much...Finding them on the internet, and trying to watch them through an adequate server, was annoying for me, so therefore I resorted to watching shorts and episodes of television programs.

Speaking of Harry Potter: I seem to look a lot like him for some reason. Everyone thinks I'm Harry.

I saw it, awesome movie. My favorite movie scene ever is the part when he cuts off the police officer's ear while dancing to Stuck in the Middle With You.

That sounds like a scene from a Hemingway novel to me! Do you know any movie that has been adopted from a Hemingway novel, Andro?

Mr. Yellow is definitely my favorite character from the film so the cop torture scene is naturally my favorite.

I think some of his novels have been made into movies, but I haven't read any of the novels yet. I like to read the books first. In my experience, they are almost always better than the movies.

That is true...I am currently reading his 'For whom the Bell Tolls' and while I do not find it that remarkable (except for a few scenes, such as El Sordo's last stand, and Maria's description of her torture in her father's village), I find his writing style very intriguing.

To all members: Who is your favorite author, and why?
To answer my own question, I would say that it would be Goethe, in terms of plays and poetry, though there are other writers that I am fond of as well.

Twix for me too. I like its time-stopping abilities. I thought thats just how it worked in the commercial, but it turns out that if you eat a Twix, time will actually stop momentarily.
