Hmmmm? There are about 2 reports a day at least requesting to have him removed, and i have maintained that he should stay. There are far more reports on his posts requesting to have them removed or edited than probably any other. Juggle has told me that after the many different incarnations of Askbob, Izbo is the one who is requested the most to have removed from the site. I have continued to defend his presence, mostly for the entertainment factor, but also because i don't see any great harm to the site (other than it's intellectual degradation) with his presence.

So, let us open it up shall we? Those who think he should go, and those who think he should stay.

As a disclaimer, his removal will be no way guaranteed by this thread.

He does add entertainment to the thread, and hasn't actually engaged in threatening members or multi-accounting--to the best of my knowledge.

I would have Izbo10 stay, though there are other members with far worse, and less comical, demeanor than Izbo.

I vote STAY. (this site needs that entertainment)

I've never thought about him much but it is funny how plenty of people have signatures where they write about what they said to Izbo. It is clear that he is a person that others love to hate. I think he should stay.

He shouldn't be here, this is a debate site, we should be elitist.

On the other hand he makes me feel good about myself.

I am going to have to be true to my snobbery... banish him!
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

Stay. He's an idiot but an interesting idiot who is possibly the intellectual antecedent of DACMOTO. We need more stupid atheists on this site. Who are Inferno, Godsands and DACMOTO going to play with?

Why are we leaving it up for vote anyways? Shouldn't a mod just check to see if he's violated the TOS or not?

Izbo should be allowed to stay, so long as he cuts down on the amount of personal attacks he dishes out.

This is tyranny of the majority and a violation of freedom of speech.

Just because Izbo says things you don't like doesn't mean he deserves to be banned. Especially given that he's actually engaging in debate and appears to be serious as opposed to the nonsense and irrelevant posts that comes from trolls.

Have you never read any of his posts then?

I'm sorry but that is just BS. Innomen gave a disclaimer, and furthermore, this is a website. There is no such thing as a right to be on a website.

Did you even read the disclaimer? This is just opinion gathering.

How do you solve a problem like an Izbo?
He climbs a tree and scrapes her knee
His dress has got a tear
He waltzes on her way to Mass
And whistles on the stair
And underneath his wimple
He has curlers in his hair
I even heard him singing in the abbey

I'd like to say a word in his behalf
Izbo makes me laugh

How do you solve a problem like Izbo?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you find a word that means Izbo?
A flibbertijibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A 'tard!

Many a thing you know you'd like to tell him
Many a thing he ought to understand
But how do you make him stay
And listen to all you say
How do you keep a wave upon the sand

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Izbo?
How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?

That's exactly what i was thinking when i put this up; a Julie Andrews musical of course, but.....I'm gay, what's your deal?

In Britain it is a common and manly past-time to watch musicals. In fact when going out on the lash with the lads it is particularly normal to watch a musical in between pub venues.

Don't agree with anything he says, but he's got to be allowed to stay. Insults, silly commentary and being wrong all the time are no grounds for giving him the boot on a debate site.
