Maybe the personal forum would have been better, but um....

Today is my 7 year old cousin's birthday. It'll be a swinging time with clown strippers, phallic shaped balloon animals, and a cake baked into the shape of woman's chest.

There will also be lots of alcohol.

.... Not really, but at least there will be pulled pork sandwiches..

I should writing an analysis of the character Grendel, and doing my Physics, Chemistry and Spanish homework, AND studying for a US History test tomorrow.

Eh. It can wait.

Interesting...I am currently outlining a section of Beowulf and am taking an interest in Grendel.
There is a scholarly debate about his nature, and whether or not he is truly among the kinsmen of giants, despite the poem's verses that describe him as one of the descendants of Cain...

Are you in AP history? Have they given you the test where you memorize 44 presidents,50 states, 50 capitals, and 15 amendments yet? I had that on friday. Got a 157/159 :)

Thanks for the advice, but it has to be a typed paper so I need my computer; and so long as I have the option to be on the internet I doubt I'd be able to muster the self-control not to at least have a firefox window open.
However I don't watch TV, so I'm halfway there :-D.

Yeah, but this site is horrible for work since it sucks up the part of your brain you should be using to critically think about stuff.

I can attest to that, especially when I am working on outlining the piece of Beowulf right now!

Thankfully not. I'm in Pre-IB US History, and have no intention of taking any actual IB History classes when I go full-IB.

Tomorrow is Monday. Nuff said.

Last monday:
-I missed my bus.
-I had a dollar to spend on breakfast, the vending machine ate it.
-Got a pop quiz in AP euro, didnt go well.
-Got raged at by my journalism teacher for not putting my name on a paper.
-A friend spilled chocolate milk on me at lunch.
-My backpack rolled down a set of stairs.
-While walking home from the bus stop, the trail was torn up to be repaved.
-Got home, did homework.
-Couldnt fall asleep until 11.

Ugh....

How's that a "meh" mood?

and 7 year old birthdays are fun too.. I liked mine :o)

I think that was prolly the one at the beach club where everyone dressed up as pirates and we had to dig up a treasure chest full of goodie-bags which my dad forgot where he buried so half the people didn't get their goodie bags.

Also water balloons and super soakers...

and.... stuff.

Pulled pork sandwiches are the one thing My 7 year old b-day party was missing.

How is this "meh"?!
