Is there something going on here I am not aware of? What is with all these debates? The first time I saw an "I will not contradict myself" debate I thought it was fun and original. By this point it is neither, and actually getting annoying. Am I the only one who thinks this?

I dunno, either. Ike and I were the second pair to do it, and we changed it a bit. After that, people just got outta hand.

lol They are fast, easy, and fun debates, at least for the people involved. Its well into the school year, and most of us don't have time for long and serious debates.

They are fun debates, and for serious debaters, they give a chance to relax from the hecticness of real debates.

2) The Biblical God has contradictory attributes.
3) Therefore, the Biblical God does not exist

Don't be silly, this is an old meme. A none-too-thorough search found at least 2 that are about 2 years old.

It's a challenge debate people, lotsa people wanna try it a few times. Nothing surprising.

wjmelements came up with the concept and won the very first "I will not contradict myself" debate. Since then, many people have enjoyed the concept. I've probably done more of them than anyone else on this site.
