Just look at it this way... If you get one person to change their mind then you've made a 100% increase in voter support : D

This type of polling is inherently inaccurate for something known as "response bias". The most in tune and enthusiastic voters responded to this poll.

In the election, this will be greatly reduced. I believe that, for this reason, this poll vastly underestimates my support.

Furthermore, I have announced a full platform since this poll was conducted, which should bring in some more votes as well.

And if response bias happens to be 1000% against you, you'd STILL lose to Inno in a general election.

My point is that I think there will be significantly more support for me in the actual election than this poll would suggest, possibly enough to win.

Well, seeing as how only one member of the Libertas party showed up to vote (and there are at least two), I think you may in trouble.

So... based on these results, Jimtimmy had only one person vote for him: himself. I'm gong to be generous and say that 9/10ths of his supporters didn't take part in the poll, and that he can convince one other person to vote for him in a couple days.

Way to go, Jimmy! That'd be eleven whole votes! *applauds*

Meanwhile, assuming the same thing for Innomen; only to be fair, let's say it's more along the lines of 1/2. So, that 32 votes may translate out to 64 votes in the actual election, including mine.

I'm usually skeptical of this whole election thing, but you've done a good job as user mod and liason with Juggle; as far as I've seen, you've been fair and aboveboard with the community here, and shown maturity and competence in your decisions.

When this election was just a popularity contest, with no real use, I stayed out; but now that Juggle listens to the president, I'm going to support someone who is obviously competent and knows the community, not someone who joined six months ago.

Better make a new thread with your updated platform.
Will you put this change before your other changes? If it's priority, your whole platform needs to be restructured.

Wat? I'm not harassing him. That's a legitimate question. If something is a priority, it should be part of your election platform, right?
As far as I know, he hasn't mentioned this before you brought it up and it's clear he is just grasping at straws to gain support. Even if, by some miracle, he is elected, he won't be able to change anything because he has no relationship with Juggle.
If you actually WANT change, you should vote for innomen.
He has moderator powers and a strong relationship with the owners of this website.

Does the president automatically become a moderator, or is this just a special power that Innomen has?

It's a power innomen earned by building a personal relationship with Juggle and being an active and upstanding member of our community.
