So the voting for the 5th DDO President will begin on Friday, the 9th, and continue through Tuesday, the 13th, with the winner taking office on Thursday, the 15th.

The voting requirements will be the exact same as last year.

All users must have either 3 completed debates (spam debates do not count), or 100 forum posts. All votes must be in bold or they will not be counted.
You may change your vote at any time during the voting period and may change as many times as you like.
You may vote for anyone you wish, even those not running or mentioned in the OP (considered write-ins).
Voting is done in an open forum thread and so all votes will be public.

Thank you.

Lol, not until Friday (won't be surprised if some of the mafia players accidently say "VTL [insert candidate here]").

Also, there will be a new thread that is stickied for that. Just making sure the rules are posted and reminding people of the dates.

Poor Wnope, this is the price he pays for not debating.

He meets the posting minimum requirement. It is 3 debates or 100 posts.

This is what happens when you open a thread named "Election voting" a few days prior to an election.

Yeah, that occured to me about 14 seconds after posting, should be called "election voting guidelines" or something.

Vote socialpinko.

I know I haven't been really active in the election forums, but I have been lurking.

None really. But from what others have explained, the president's word has greater weight as he is the representative of everyone esle. He acts as a bridge between juggle (the owner of the website) and the DDO community. Something the president suggests to Juggle is given higher regard than something any other member suggests.

Thanks, 000ike.

I was a little confused because I noticed that some folks were running on a platform to initiate change to DDO.
