The 2012 U.S presidential election in essentially in full swing at this point. We can't still have John McCain as an option on the president portion of our profiles. We also need to replace George Bush with Barack Obama on the big issues. That, and a few other outdated issues that aren't really of concern right now, i.e PETA, World Trade Organization, and War in Iraq. Perhaps add Occupy Movement, Individual Mandate, and Libyan Civil War.

I think we should just get rid of the whole President part in BIG Issues.

What I mean is that we don't even have a "George Bush/Barack Obama" Issue.

Ike, the BIG Issues need to be issues that aren't going anywhere soon--such as abortion, the US, DP, etc.

OWS and Libyan Civil War are fleeting issues.

This. And the presidents really need to update as soon as a Republican candidate is chosen.

If we had someone to actively maintain and update the site, I'd say it's a great idea to put OWS and other current topics on the Big Issues. Ideally the Big Issues should reflect current opinions about current topics to give members an idea of where other members stand. But you do have a point here, these obviously don't get changed often. If they're going to be around for a while, they need to reflect issues that will also be around for a while. Juggle isn't going to make it a priority to update the site for us every time an issue goes out of fashion, that's why our profiles still think GWB is a big issue (and still a President, lol). It would be awesome if they would, but there must be other priorities that they're busy with because they're MIA.

Updating the Presidential candidates and such is something Juggle is just going to have to deal with, but that's only necessary every four years, so it shouldn't be too much to do.

Am I the only one who actually kind of prefers it this way, with Juggle not actively involved with us?

Hmm actually I can see the benefits of that.

But someone should have edit power.

lol? What happened to the fact that you can choose your political ideology.

I personally think they should add "authoritarian" to the list of ideologies. I think i'm starting to fall under that category :/

Also for the President, they only let you choose from the final remaining candidates. I initially supported Hillary Clinton in 08 but that wasn't an option to choose from once Obama won the Democratic nomination (not that I voted for her). I only vote for myself as a write-in candidate.

Well do werewolves hate showers? I know vampires dislike water. Not too sure about werewolves...
