Volkov = wolves in Russian

Actually it is the last name of a pop star and I thought it sounded awesome minus the -a. But it does mean 'wolves' in Russian, which is even more awesome.

Cause I can't tell whether I should make people who don't check for old threads walk the plank, or if I should send a quad after them.

Geo as in Geography/Geographer. My profession is Geographic Information Systems Analyst.

Laureate as in Poet Laureate. The greatest poet in a country or an appointed poet by royalty. Also a reference to Nobel Laureate.

8 because a sideways 8 is the symbol for Infinity.

"Tarzan" is a nickname I earned in middle school because my arms and legs are really disproportionately long and I was always running and climbing things...

Because mongooses are cool. Note that it is not mongeese. Mongeese is not a word.
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

My cross-country team won state this past year and I plan on winning state my sophomore, junior, and senior years, hence four-peat, meaning four times in a row, and cc meaning cross country.

Mongeese is a word.

You realize that both pages redirect to mongoose, right?

Lexicaholic because it was the screen name I used in college. I used this name in college due to the fact that:

(1) I studied English Lit, and therefore read a lot and had to study semantics.
and
(2) I drank to excess.

(Lexicon + Alcoholic = Lexicaholic)

and also

(3) I am addicted to studying word choice and methods of expression.

Nowadays only the third reason really applies.

I am a big Sherlock Holmes fan, and I equate his method with, "eliminate the impossible and whatever is left, however improbable, must be the truth." I loved it as a kid and still do. Hence, Sherlockmethod.

No. I can't figure it out either.

Who else thinks Tarzans is an outright lie?

my name is in Latin. I am a fan of the Latin language. Nunc means now, or presently. Consurgo means stand or stand up, particularly pertaining to standing up for ones beliefs.

I've had the nickname Feva for about 15 years, lots of people still call me it and many don't know me by my real name at all. I think I'm growing out of it a bit now though and Feverish seems more ...um... distinguished somehow.

Kefka, because he is the greatest villain in history of EVERYTHING (so far). I almost thought about Itachi, but I would look like a Naruto fanatic. But, Itachi did do things that were amazing and embodied what a true brother had to do in a certain situation.

My dad chose this name. It was neutral, so I liked it. I enjoy the power that comes with anonymity.
