they do IP checks to see if it was hacked.

Also we have like 10 pledged supporters. maybe 15... the others have more support overall but there are so many of them they split it. It may lead to a JT victory unless you make some drop out.

They just spoof their IP or use a proxy. IP checks are standard for polls.

A JT win would be an absolute atrocity. I think that every candidate who has no shot at winning should pledge support to either whoever is leading the polls prior to the election. We CANNOT allow the rise of the Bully Pulpit Era to curve free thought. We cannot allow the accounts of non race-realists to be "blown up". He MUST lose.

I don't think any member who has been here less than a year should be president, regardless of the fact that this position offers no real powers - which I appreciate now that mostly inexperienced people run.

Darkkermit is the best choice this time.

Are you saying you hacked the polls?

Not even close. my friends hack polls at my school and they say they track IP so they somehow fake it. that's probably what that was talking about. have no clue how you do it. but yeah that's how I know how polls ban multiple votes. my dynamic IP only changes if I let my computer reset/go to sleep. And I am ding to many things to let it do that.

So if I wanted to hack a poll, yes I might if I felt the need, but that's against my motto. Cheating is basically against my lifestyle.

Thaddeus is a better choice. I see kermit being partial, and taking the role to a type of stringency that's uncomfortable for everyone.

While I don't think we should restrict anyone who has been here for less than a year from running for president, the people who have been here for less than a year should know better than to run.

For instance, I was here for 8 months and chose not to run because I don't think I was ready. People interested in running should try and contact Juggle, talk to Innomen about the details of the presidency, find out how they can implement changes etc.

Some of the potential candidates are not even aware that the president doesn't automatically gain mod privileges neither do they intend to run DDO in an unbiased way.

Thaddeus is a better choice. I see kermit being partial, and taking the role to a type of stringency that's uncomfortable for everyone.

I agree that Thaddeus is a great choice especially with TV as a VP. A more relaxed administration would be more beneficial overall to the community.

Again, comical that is the only objection. Also, I dislike tactical voting, which is why I prefer a single transferable vote system.

The points "I think that every candidate who has no shot at winning should pledge support to either whoever is leading the polls prior to the election" and "Bully Pulpit Era to curve free thought" are quite relevant as well.

Nothing about him is better, and Darkkermit is definitely a more serious member, which is a bonus. Darkkermit is also the one most similar to Innomen, who has done a good job being a president.

Moreover, the president is not equivalent to the mod, and if it were, then people like Jimtimmy should not be allowed to have mod abilities. Period. If one isn't capable of controlling himself, he should not be entitled to controlling anything on a top-quality debate site.

One of my faults would be holding this site's members in high regard. I don't think that the intelligent members of the site would allow people with bias temperament who would ruin this site be president. And the overwhelming majority are the intelligent members of this site.
