I am planning to create a debate where the resolution is basically going to be, "Video Games are Art on Par With Motion Pictures and Television." However, I don't want to become involved in semantics because semantics are really, really annoying; and nobody likes debates on definitions and such. However, is this topic inherently semantic, because the term 'art' is really subjective? I want to have a fun debate, but this is also a topic which I want to pursue. So, in conclusion, I would like a better worded resolution then what I already have. (PS: I'm PRO)

I could be mistaken, but so long as you clarify that motion pictures and television are indeed arts, all you have to prove is that videogames are on par with them in many ways and then resolution affirmed.
