It was a one-week ban for harassment, spamming, and I believe votebombing.

Can someone say what he votebombed? I don't doubt harrassment (I have a large endless message stream from him doing just that) but I didn't know about the VBing.

He waited until there were 10 hours remaining in the month-long voting period to cast a 6-0 vote on arguments my opponent conceded to be false and that he asserted to be true.

Seems legit.

But on a serious note, not sure about banning: a trial would add some legitimacy to this actually occurring.

This individual isn't really ban worth in my opinion, besides, that's what they wanted, and when someone wants a trial a lot, that just means they're a drama whore.

Agreed. I propose the followings:

1) Before a trial, a suspension of 2 weeks shall be implemented;
2) There shall be a 2 week period if the user returns before deciding if the behaviour of the person has changed. If not, then a trial is implemented.
3) If found guilty, the person is banned.

I just meant a trial on whether they should recieve the censorship at all: the evidence seems flimsy and through implicit, rather than explicit, evidence, and comes down more to interpretation than anything.

Microsuck you of all people knows how it takes weeks to even start a trial, let alone to go through the trial (not FF any rounds) and then wait for voting to be done... Innomen has the right idea here if we ban him for a week and that doesnt fix him then ban him permanently and the problem will be solved.

It's weird to watch things take a direction like this.

It's like watching a car accident happen in front of you.

It was creepy, too. I was annoyingly delayed about five minutes a little while earlier.
