My DDO pages keep freezing every 20 seconds. In the middle of typing a post, the text box will freeze and I can't continue typing. I am then told I either need to wait until the pages respond (useless waste of time, because they don't start working again) or kill them. I'm using Chrome and this is the only website it's happening on, so I don't think it's my internet connection. Any ideas? I'm e-tarded.

I haven't had this particularly problem. But I have had some loading issues, and slowness from the site. Also when typing into a PM I'll occasionally not be able to type or select out of the text box. Other members have also reported having some issues with the site as well. It would seem to be an issue with DDO itself.

Sorry I can't help at all, there just seems to be something going on with the site lately.

click reload, and it should work. Happens to me a lot, and that walkways works. Rapidly jam it.

I have chrome as well. The X cancels the reload, so if you keep clicking, it will keep reloading.

Happens to me on Chrome, too.

It has something to do with a direct stream to the server that experiences some sort of miscommunication.

However, that means that whatever you wrote will still be there, even if you navigate away from the page, so just kill it and reload.

I haven't identified a permanent solution.

Opera ~ no problems the text gets weirdly organized though, livable , faster
Firefox ~ less problems
Safari ~ haven't used safari for a long time
Chrome ~ problems (but ok) fairly fast.

I use Firefox as a habit, but opera is the best.

Chrome is slow. Use FF or Internet Explorer 9 (Not to be confused with the slow version 8 that gave it a bad reputation, the new version 9 is 10x faster)

Opera sucks. Firefox is awesome. Safari is worse than IE. And Chrome is pretty good.

Yes I use it and it works well, although for DDO it freezes occasionally.
