Seconded. I'd like to see an updated version immediately prior to the voting period, should changes occur.

Two common factors:

medic seems apathetic on a lot of issues (either absent or "majority rule")
jimtimmy seems to be opposed on basically every issue.

Whoever I vote for, I'll be holding my breath and feeling like I need a shower afterward. (Now I know how a Republican feels this year!)

I would run myself if I could give DDO the time and attention it deserves.

It's not that I'm apathetic, it's just that some of the issues I just frankly don't see as important to me personally, but if the majority of members support those ideas and feel they're important, then as president I would advocate for that issue. I don't see why majority rule is a bad thing. It gives power to the voters. As I stated in my other thread, I beleive that the president should represent the members interests, not push his own personal agenda.

Now that wasn't very nice. I could make a joke about how showering daily, rather than weekly, and using deodorant will help you avoid that grimey, gritty, feeling that you seem to be experiencing, but I won't.

Against forum stickies. Too problematic. Juggle probably won't want to invest the time in creating them anyway, and besides, there's always Google...

Agreed. Page one of the forums will be full of stickies about things that were relevant at some point but no longer used. Policing the stickies just seems like extra work for the mod.

I don't have a problem with stickies, but specifically in regards to the Economics forum, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

If you don't know what supply and demand are, you have no business in the economics forum in the first place. If you post more complex concepts, then there's no actual agreement between Keynesians and Austrians, so good luck with that one. There will be constant bickering.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into - Jonathan Swift (paraphrase)
