Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson are not modern Democrats. William Jennings Bryan was a populist. Huey Long was a Communist,...and Wallace ran as an independent against Nixon.

That's half your list debunked right there.

This belongs in the politics section by the way.

Fair point on Andrew Jackson, although he was a Democrat.

Wilson, though dated, was around during the Republican/Democratic political era.

William Jennings Bryan, however, was a racist and Religious extremist... on top of being an ignorant populist.

And, Wallace was a lifelong Democrat who RAN as an independant.

I'm sorry, I should have put this in politics section.

I don't see how this is relevant. Everybody knows that the Democrats were the party of racists up until probably FDR.

If you're going to sig someone's quote, don't lie about the subject. I was referring to him denying the speed of light, gravity, and the logic of mathematics, specifically. Also, it's clear you have no idea what ad hominem actually is.

You do know the US party system has changed drastically over the last hundred years, right?

You might as well argue Jefferson voted Democrat/Republican.

Democrats (southern at least) were racist up until the civil rights act when the South abandoned the party.

Depends how loosely you define ad homeneim.

Also it was in a YEC forum and it was easier to write it that way

I agree it was baloney but you should have scrutinized it until he gave up. Something that... Lol... Should be refuted.

Easier to write almost always means inaccurate and intentionally misleading.

How is Jackson a democrat by today's standards? Again, you are full of sh*t.
He expanded the power of the federal government? He certainly wouldn't vote for the Tea Party.

By today's standards I would call him either and Fascist or a Nazi.
