I have a suggestion.

Let's create a thread where people ask questions and people can answer those. It will help clear up the DDO forums and it is more efficient.

What do you think?

Why not just create a new topic every time you have a question...

that would seem to attract more answers

It would be easier with one questions thread.

vmpire does have a point. Take a look at the "post X debates here threads" that attract almost no-one.

806 posts since 2/16. That's like, what, 6 posts a day? Considering the site gets over 1,000 a day, that is not really impressive.

Also, look at how many people actually RESPOND to the posts for forfeits/unvotes etc. and how long it actually takes them to respond if they do.

It's an interesting idea, and I'll give it some thought. Though the "New Members Welcome Thread II" technically can be used for this function from more than new members.

There will likely be some reorganization of the DDO forum stickies in the near future, so this and other ideas are welcome so that we know what to potentially add and change.

I feel like people would chat on it for about a day, and then it would just become pointless.

You do realize that the point of the thread is to answer questions.

It will be like:

Post 1: Intro
Post 2: Question
Post 3: Answer

Repeat posts 2 and 3 forever. No chatting.
