To clarify, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the idea that Obama is Republican. For a liberal, he's pretty fasciocapitalist.

I think their placement of politicians in 2008 is somewhat flawed, based on the questions they asked.

The lines I drew is largely from self identification of ideology. It was also not an exact science and probably has plenty of flaws. :)

According to this I'm leaning toward authoritarian socialism..

I'm actually a Monarchist: First to the King of kings and then to Queen Elizabeth II.

That's a lotta livin' for the sake of another man there. Or maybe asking them to live for yours :)

perhaps, but again, you haven't gotten my justifications... and maybe I should take those tests again. the choices are incredibly vague... how do i know if i strongly agree about something, vs. just agreeing with it? what if i strongly agree with everything i agree with? won't they then be the same thing? what if i don't agree or disagree? or what if i need to explain my answers, since just checking a bubble doesn't adequetly describe my political ideals?

I'm not too surprised by my result here, it seems about right. I didn't understand a few of the question though and just took a stab in the dark, which may have skewed the result one way or t'other.

If you'd care to explain how over half of the questions were poor indicators feel free. :)

Technically, Jblake, I was making a joke in that his signature and result are apparently contradictory. I'm not addressing one separate from the other, but both together.
