So I'm trying to organize a college level debate team, and the first step is finding a league/competition. Google keeps sending me to HS debate leagues, and I can't seem to find a good college level league. Could someone save me some trouble here and shed some light on this, or at least give me a helpful link?

Google "APDA"

You are welcome.

How do these competitions usually work anyway?

It's basically 2 on 2 debate. You get the topic 15 minutes before each round starts and you have that time to prepare.

That sounds pretty intense. So you just develop a position on the fly and roll with it?
