I have a suggestion. I think it would be nice if there is a round before Round 1 called the "Acceptnace Round" since it is very obvious Round 1 of debates are used for acceptnace. That way we can have one more round for those who wish to have a longer debate.

How do you guys think?

I think five round debates are already too long, so having an acceptance round to allow six round debates wouldn't be good. Still, the concept of an acceptance round is now pretty well established, and most serious debaters use it. Maybe something could be done to help automate it. Maybe the instigator could check the rules to be added to the challenge from a list provided by the site. Not a big deal, but worth some thought.

There is no need for this since it's up to instigator to choose if they will insist on not having round one for acceptance.

That's one of the coolest suggestions I've heard in ages.
