This may have already been a topic, but what is your most favorite debate that you did and why? Usually, its a great debate that you won. The least favorite debate is usually one where you were sloppy and was crushed in, but that's just my opinion.

Favourite: http://www.debate.org...
This debate took a lot of time to do. It has required the most amount of effort and research.

Least favourite: http://www.debate.org...

My first debate, I didn't really know how to debate online, aside from debates where opponents have forfeited against me, this debate would have to be my worst performance, plus I was against rationalmadman.

It really depends on the definition of favorite and least favorite. Based on your "sloppy and were crushed in" definition, there were plenty. I wouldn't call them "least favorite" though since I enjoyed them but those were the ones which had the greatest mismatch of skill.

Let's go with least favorite first.

1) Pressuring noobs vs experienced players in mafia

http://www.debate.org...

After this was done, people quoted my opponent (Danielle) in mafia games and used her reasoning for pressuring noobs. So much so that when the issue cropped up, people would link to this debate to prove their point.

2) States justifies in posseseing nukes

http://www.debate.org...

One of the very few debates in which I unfortunately forfeited a round and was unable to counter BlackVoid's strong arguments. I've played devil's advocate before and I am actually astonished by how weak my arguments were because I didn't really believe what I was saying. Interesting, BV was also playing devil's advocate but he did a much better job.

3) New members shouldn't start debates right away

http://www.debate.org...

This one where I couldn't counter Double_R very well and he made a really persuasive case. If one good thing came out of it, it was YYW providing me the longest RFD ever and tips for improvement.

Onto my favorite ones:

1) Gun Rights

http://www.debate.org...

This one involved a lot of research and jm and I were challenging each other quite a bit but I had the upper hand in the end. It was also part of a tournament that I felt was memorable.

2) Manned vs Unmanned Space Exploration

http://www.debate.org...

Space is definitely one of my favorite topics and I fun going at it with DHDebate (formerly BangBangCoconut). It didn't hurt that I won.

3) Politifact

http://www.debate.org...

I'll remember this one as "that debate I spent 24 straight hours researching for a single round." For whatever reason, I found it difficult to research on it but I am glad I did since I learned a lot about politics while doing so. Once the second round was done, rounds 3 and 4 were basically re-iterating the same thing so I think I took about 6-7 hours for those.

Least favorite: anything in my first 15 debates. Seriosuly, I look back at my old arguments and wonder what the heck was wrong with me.

Favorites:

1. I devil's advocate the DP against Thett and somehow come out on top despite purposely using non-staple arguments.

2. I lose this debate to F-16, but its probably my favorite one given that I knew very little about the topic coming in, but had a blast. Learned more in this debate (about both sides) then any other.

3. Just because the topic is great. Props to CP for coming up with it.

Favorite: I know this is a writers debate, and that I lost it, but it was probably the most fun I've had. KRF is one of the best debaters on this site, and is extremely intelligent. He defeated me pretty good in this writers debate, had some great plot twists, and did a very good job at constructing the story.

Least Favorite: This was by far my worst debate. I accepted it not knowing as much as I thought I did about the topic. Though my opponent was a noob to the site, he instantly crushed me with his vast knowledge and resources. It got to the point where I couldn't substantiate most of my arguments, and was mainly posting fluff. I give a lot of respect to Superior arsenal for this win.

My favourite debate at the moment is my Gay marriage debate, where my opponent concedes, which hasn't happened to me in any other debate so far. http://www.debate.org...

My least favourite debates are my first couple of ones. Read the first 10ish of my debates and those are generally my least favourite ones.

Least favorite:

http://www.debate.org.... I performed extremely sub-par, compared to normal.

Can't decide between these two. I performed really well in both debates against very formidable opponents.
I'm becoming less defined as days go by, fading away, and well you might say, I'm losing focus, kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself.
