Psyche! Ha! I'll bet you were expecting a new episode. Sorry, no. This is just an update since a few people have asked me about it.

I haven't been on debate.org much lately because I've been preoccupied with another interest of mine--making bows and other archery related things--and there are only so many habits/hobbies/diversions my little pea brain can handle at one time. I'm sure I'll come back here eventually. My fingers are pretty sore from all the shooting I've been doing the last few weeks, so I may be forced to take a break from archery, at which time I'll come back here.

Airmax is up next, but I may do a double interview next week since Tulle and Maikaru will be together, and I don't want to miss the opportunity. I think that would be cool.

So, in the meantime, have a look at some of the stuff I've been making lately while taking a break from debate.org:

Here's a crossbow I made for my brother-in-law:

And here's a video of the crossbow:

Here's an English style longbow I made out of eastern red cedar:

Here's some horn nocks I made for my English longbows:

Here's a recurve I made out of bamboo:

Here's some bolts I made for my brother-in-law's crossbow. There are three for target practice, and two for real life zombies. I made the broadheads out of spoons I got at the dollar store.

Here's a fiberglass laminated bow I made with cedar, mesquite, and Osage.

Here's a bamboo-backed ipe bow with hickory, Osage, and purple heart in the riser, and the bamboo backing is stained with a leather dye.

Here's a replica I made of the One Ring out of Osage.

Here's some string I made out of the leaves of a yucca plant:

Lastly, I started making slingshots. Here's a video of my first one:

So that's what I've been up to lately. I'll come back here eventually when the winds of fascination change again. Be good.

Wow, do you sell these? They are all really beautiful.

My gym class had an archery unit that I failed. I couldn't get the arrow off the bow lol But if I could I would definitely want one of these :)

Thank you. I used to sell bows for a living, but I got burned out on it. Now I just do it as a hobby. I still sell one every now and then just to clear some space on my bow rack. I sold one a couple of weeks ago, and I'm trading one tomorrow.

If you lived closer, you'd be welcome to shoot them. I have a little archery range in my back yard.
