Were should someone go for Sources? All the websites and so such information...

This is a list of Websites I often use, and a reason a use them... Hope it helps.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
National Statistics.

http://www.nationmaster.com...
This site as just about everything you need. Click on the Select Category Menu, and a long list will appear in the bottom Menu to match your selected category. This site holds information from Government GDP to Debt ratio, to the amount of Tons delivered per km of highway, to the number of Hospital Bed per 1000 people.

If you can't navigate the site, that's okay. Type Nationmaster along with what you're Googling to find your results.

http://en.worldstat.info...
A compiled list of plain statistics. Each list is compiled into a neat group of categories, and every nation and continent has it's own group of stats. Just an easy access place.

https://www.cia.gov...
A massive source of everything Nation and Government related. It has everything, if not more, than Nationmaster. It's always good to spice up your sources, though.

http://databank.worldbank.org...
Another large database of knowledge. Not as full as the others, but still loaded.

Sources and Lists

http://www.wikipedia.org...
Before you crucify me, listen. Wikipedia has a great deal of reliability, but what I like about it is it's sources. It's just a giant database of sources. It's lists are also among the most complete I've found. I like to use it for the large lists and complete tables/charts it offers and the great deal of sources it offers, with some sentences having more than one source attached.

Basic Information

http://www.about.com...
This site quite literally has everything. It goes across so many categories, and EACH one is a full, loaded network of 100's of articles and data. Examples include About.com Australia Travel to About.com Breastfeeding, and even About.com Cake Decorating. With over 1120 categories, each one it's own network. I'm not kidding, check one out... Anything you need, all right there.

http://www.cracked.com...
Okay, it's a online comedy magazine. The thing I like is the wide range of articles, and how many sources they tend to have. The site isn't joking when it says it's comedy with a touch of education. The site is mostly good for learning new things you didn't know or never thought about, bring up new research points, and comparing knowledge. It is a pretty good source through, and is backed by plenty of links and research, but watch what article you're using.

Politics

http://www.politifact.com...
A source of highly unbiased knowledge. I've used this site more than I can count for my own writing. I may be Conservative, but if this site said something bad about Obama just isn't true, I take it to heart and listen. It categorizes everything by how true or false it is, so nothing is just black and white.

http://www.politico.com...
Similar to Politifact in most ways. Politico is more the News site variant to what Politifact is.

http://www.govtrack.us...
A large database of every bill proposed along with every vote held in current years. It tracks every bills progress, and gives the reader simple information on what a bill is and does and will cost/do. Not Conservative news or Liberal news... Just information.

Fallacies

http://www.nobeliefs.com...
While not the best, it gets the job done. Explains a lot of fallacies, and even explains what, as a scientist/debater, you are to do in a debate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just a small list of Sources I use a lot and find very reliable. If you have any Sources to add, please do.

Definitions And Facts Key.net

http://www.dafk.net...
This site has stored up just about anything you could ever, ever need to use in a debate. It really took me by surprise just how much effort was really put into it. You can find the absolute most detailed information spanning from politics, to religion, to pop culture (i.e. Rick Astley). If you ever get lost in a debate and can't find a source for what you need, this is a URL you can certainly paste.

http://www.usgovernmentspending.com...

This site has EVERYTHING for the US and UK national budgets. How detailed is it? You can expand every part of the budget to show you a more detailed list of expenses, and you can do this many times. The best part? It has the entire budget written out since the start of the US. Every year's budget written out for you... AND every States. It even expands into the year 2018 based on highly educated guesses.

This is the site to go to if you need to know more about what the Governments spending. An example, Pensions can be expanded to 69 different categories and expanses. The site really does have everything on US/US States/UK Budgets.
