what's with this "Research this debate..."

I Just finished a debate that had nothing to do with the U.S., yet for some reason on the bottom of the page it says "Research this debate: United States"

It apparently done by computer algorithm. The best place to see it at work is in the Polls. For example, "What's your favorite conservative publication?" has "Research: Mitt Romney." I think the algorithm has been improved. Some of the earlier results were hilarious non sequiturs.

Another way that DDO is getting stupider.

Mitt Romney hasn't written a single "conservative" publication and really isn't a conservative at all. He's a moderate.

I may want to retract my claim that the algorithm has been improved. Consider:

DDO pre-election poll.
Related Topics: President, Houston Texans, Elections, Government, United States

I can see why the algorithm ignored "DDO" and assumed it was about the Presidential election. But where did "Houston Texans" come from?
