A concern. I believe whoever becomes the new president of this website (imabench) should take responsibility in cleaning out the polls section MAJORLY. It's extremely hard to navigate now and a lot of the topics are just pointless and ridiculous. We should also limit the amount of polls posted a week/month/day or something as has been said previously. We should also perhaps make a REQUIREMENT to be able to post polls. Maybe a certain amount of time on the website or number of debates participated in? That'd make this whole thing a lot more easier. What are you guys thoughts?

SECONDED! The poll section is a bit cluttered. There needs to be an easier way to search for poll topics too, btw...

It's been said quite a few times, I believe it actually needs to happen. I'm not a regular forum user, but someone that has a true voice on this website should speak up about it. I'm getting more and more turned off from using it.

I entirely agree. But it is fairly new...as Juggle gets more feedback, and as the Pres (hopefully) pushes for reforms, it will get better.

I second that. There should be a major requirement to be able to create a poll (i.e 15 debates won.) I admit that I have posted quite a few topics, but none meaningless. Whoever is elected should put this somewhere near the top of their list.

Dont hold your breath waiting for it.....

If I know Juggle like I think I know juggle, an update that could maybe put a cap limit on how many polls can be made in a given hour, or an update to prevent repeated polls from being made, isnt going to come around anytime soon..... Juggle hasnt made an actual update that people have asked for in a while, and if they do make a few then the first ones will probably go towards cleaning up bad debates to make the voting section a less cluttered.

The polls section isnt going to get any better anytime soon unless a miracle happens and no matter who is in charge

If you (or anyone else wins), wouldn't they have the ability to contact the site and clear out the poll section? Do you think this would be available within a year?
Also, look at the message I sent you. Things are really looking up.

Its not even close to being that easy.

Actually clearing out the polls section to look nice and organized requires heavy mod involvement literally every day since the polls can be filled up fast with spammed crap.... And Juggle wont go way out of their way to install an update to handle that to someone who has only been president for barely a week.

Do you think this would be available within a year?

Im putting it at 50-50

This is exactly what Imabench said he'd do... Limited number of polls you can create an hour, and stricter rules on repeatative and pointless Opinion and Polls.

I hate the redundancy of all of these polls and the thirteen year olds filling it up.

With Imabench, redundant polls would stop... No more seeing 3 "Gay Marriage, yes or no" polls on the first page.
