So I was browsing the polls, and I came across the Marilyn Monroe vs. Bettie Page poll. I noticed the large amount of votes on it. I also remember it peaking at a hundred votes not one day into it being a poll. I found it strange. I clicked on the number to see who had voted and noticed that maybe about 85% of the voters had the same profile picture; that is the standard blue shirted brown haired person avatar. I clicked on every one of them. Almost every single one was female, in their 20s and joined (upon time of clicking) one week ago. Their last activity was also one week ago.

Not counting these standard, mysterious avatars, maybe about 20 people voted. All of these "people" had not done anything with their profile. No debates, no updates, no bio, no info. They were all the same person practically. Take a look for yourself.

I find it VERY weird. Anyone have a possible explanation?

In the past, large groups of people would debate the exact same topic in debates all named the same thing all at once, and that was usually because some teacher or debate found DDO and gave his assignment to his class to use it and debate the same thing with each other to see who was the best......... Something similar may have happened with the poll, where a large group of people could have decided to use DDO a single time to conduct a massive poll on Marilyn or Betty.

Thats my best guess

That makes more sense than my explanation of the author of poll somehow making a million accounts at one time and having them vote on it. However, Bench, I find it weird that all of these people were aged 20-40 years old. None of them were below twenty years of age.

Well people who are below 20 years of age on here usually lie about what their age is out of fear of becoming potential targets due to their age.

I think we can name a few select people who should actually do that.

I think you spectacularly misunderstood that comment. I was saying that, assuming that all these bogus votes you have noticed come from the same person (which I never said, implied or inferred was you) creating a ludicrous number of accounts, that person needs to sort their life out, because it's just a blasted poll.

Happy now?
I'm back (ish).
