What is up with all of the debates with this resolution? Why haven't the mods been banning the debaters for obviously being multiple accounts?

Whenever you see a decent number of debates with the same or similar resolution done by a sizable group of members (usually around 5-20) it is because an educational institution is using the site to discuss/debate some particular issue.

Why haven't the mods been banning the debaters for obviously being multiple :accounts?

These aren't multi accounts, they are students/classmates, so I'm not going to ban them. This is a typical thing that happens on the site on a fairly regular basis (at least a few or more times each year), and while it might be a minor nuisance, the site is going to accommodate educational purposes.

Are there multiple debates of "Is black a color" going on?

I've only seen one. Link me to these and I'll check them out.

It's a similar circumstance.

Either way it's not an issue of multi accounting.
