1 example is more effective than 2?

That's what the debating tips say. How is that possible? So it's saying that if I provide 2 examples to support an argument, the argument will be less convincing than if I had provided only 1 example????

It's probably meant to say that 1 strong example is better than 2 moderately-strong examples. But yes, based on what you've said, you're correct.

It means that its better to give one solid example of something to support your argument rather then give 2 mediocre ones.....
