Don't take this the wrong way, cause I ask this purely in an informational manner and not to offend anyone...

Why are there so many high school aged members? I've been on other debate sites and political forums and blogs, but they rarely get so many high school aged students.

I was just wondering if it was something to do with debate clubs at high schools or something.

Probably. I'm not a high school student, but I have noticed that many members here do participate in debate clubs at school. My school never had such a thing.

I think that there are so many high school aged members here because to me this sight is more like a Debate/Social networking site. Debates take up the majority but they can really be about anything at all and that is appealing.

This is a good answer. That and this site gives me alot of information on different topics and gives me both sides of an issue

I also agree.

There used to be a more diluted concentration of HS- before Phil PhD added the v3 catalyst. Before v3, it was mainly debate. Now, it's a community. That's probably what makes HS- slightly polarized.

Yes it does.

But I don't debate right now IRL.
I just know a lot of people who do/say that I should too.

Phil is too busy to ban/unban people that deserve it.
He doesn't anyways.

Also, we need to be able to edit posts. Double posts suck.
