Is the use of Godwin's Law viable in debates? I see many chances to use it in debates that happen in forums and comment sections, sometimes i see debates where it could be used. So is the use of Godwin's Law viable in debates?

What do you mean by "use" it? Perhaps the likelihood of comparisons to Hitler or the Nazis approaches 1 over time or not, but it's unclear how that's a debate tactic.

You might use it as a judge, but as a debater, why bother? There's a difference between calling your opponent's position Nazism versus simply referring to the law.

In what debate would the law even be relevant? Unless you're debating the law itself?
The wise have eyes in their heads, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realizethat the same fate overtakes them both.
Then I said to myself,
"The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?"
I said to myself, "This too is meaningless."
For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered;
the days have already come when both have been forgotten.
Like the fool, the wise too must die!

Yeah, exactly.

The law is also stupid. As any conversation gets longer, the chance of *anything* getting mentioned approaches one as the conversation's length approaches infinite.

I'd probably debate someone on the law's viability.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The longer any conversation goes on for, in any form, the larger the probability of it broaching a topic also becomes.

Totally - I think Hitler would agree.

That's not the first pun I'd Jews in that situation...
