It's a bunch of brainless monkeys who throw sh!t at this site and try to "rule" DDO, it's also got some of the dumbest kids reaching out for attention, like rebel and Stalin.

Look, by the time I joined in rebel and Stalin already had 5 polls. I was bored, so I went along with it, and many of them got lots of votes ( well, like 10). Anyways, it is not the end of the world for you, and you can skip over them. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The site does have more than one moderator.

Who?

Ore_ele and Juggle's staff.

Do you have specific complaints about site moderation?

I ask because this is the first time I'm hearing that this "movement" has an actual cause. For any cause to have any ability to reach it's goals, those goals have to actually be known.

I'm more than happy to address any complaints that these members might have, but as of yet, not a single one of them has brought to my attention any particular issue - and certainly not brought to my attention their specific desire to see the site have more moderators. I suppose I need to ask what has prompted this specific desire, and what particular issues these members have been having that necessitates what is being called a "revolution" (I realize that is mostly tongue in cheek - though I had thought the entire thing was just a fun thing without any actual goal).

I don't think that was necessary. This same thing could have been said with a bit more civility.

However your concerns are valid, and I assure you that members are not given moderator status on a whim.

I spend a lot of time moderating the site and I don't recall ever being contacted by you about any concerns in particular that you've had, so you'll have to excuse my lack of agreement with your statement about the sites lack of active moderation.

Again, can you provide me with specifics so that I can resolve any issue that you may have? (feel free to contact me privately, if you prefer, if there is something that you need)

I think there are valid complaints though, obviously not everyone is going to be happy with the way the site is moderated. But I can't address or resolve anything that isn't specified or brought to my attention.

Trust me, I am not saying you are a bad moderator. You are a very good one, but vote bombs happen constantly and a lot of offensive things go by unnoticed in the forums.

Well then that was interesting, fine I take back what I said, but look don't make yourself look retarded on here if your bored start something new don't be a follower and give in to stupidity ok. It only encourages Stalin a little more and we all know that most of the people on here already hate him and rebel is no better, Stalin also made a few people leave this site due to his stupidity. It's not a good sign, and I never said it would be the end of the world, I merely hate the fact that some good smart people fall into a pit of stupidity and it should end. I apologize for being so hostile to you.

Yeah, to be honest I DO feel kind of stupid. Especially on that last one where everyone turned. My actual hope for the revolution thing was a kind of one party alternative to tylergrahams member congress. And I appreciate the apology.

It's a bunch of brainless monkeys who throw sh!t at this site and try to "rule" DDO, it's also got some of the dumbest kids reaching out for attention, like rebel and Stalin.

It seems you are acting out. Perhaps this revolution hits home.

It seems like your trying to ruin a good site you want me to "act" out? Cause I can make your world go round on this site jif I'm sick and tired of the dumb stupidity that your in charge of you blithering idiot. You only make this site worse, and by god if you and your gang of retards get any "moderator" status I bet you this site will only have a few people left for you to try and take charge of.

I don't think that was necessary. This same thing could have been said with a bit more civility.

However your concerns are valid, and I assure you that members are not given moderator status on a whim.

What does "more moderator status" mean?

It means we need more then one moderator.

It was a fun thing with minor goals. I was pretty serious about the lack of active moderation though.

I appreciate that, though I still need to address any complaints about moderation so that I can resolve them, if they are valid and reasonable.

Vote bombs do happen. If they are reported, and they are in fact votebombs, then they are deleted (always within 24 hours). If after 24 hours a member believes that a votebomb has been ignored by me (in other words, I disagree with them that it is a vote bomb), they are encouraged to contact me to ask why, and in every case I will explain exactly why. I'm more than happy in every case to have a lengthy chat with anyone about these things via PM when they happen. i can assure you that issues related to voting are not a manpower thing. This is something that I spend a lot of time on, but it's due to fundamental issues with how we approach voting, and not my inability to review every vote that is brought to my attention. In fact I'd argue that the state of poor voting is the best it has ever been, since for the first time, the worst of it is no longer a problem. Voting issues on the site are almost now entirely an issue of quantity (or course we'll always have bad voters, but these votes are usually deleted and members who keep doing it lose their voting privileges).

There are some offensive things in the forums. This is a bit trickier of an area though as what is offensive is naturally subjective. Members are encouraged to contact me directly if they have any complaints. It is often not enough just to report it as I tend to err on allowing as much as we can as possible. However this also means that I can miss things. But I do view every single report, and I do review this content. Furthermore, I also don't like any personal attacks and do try to remove them when they are reported, but I can miss some of those as well. Again, members are encouraged to contact me directly when it happens so that I can review the entire circumstance.

Personally I have never had issues with moderation. Every time I have ever had an issue, airmax has solved it within hours usually in mins.

Don't see why we need more unless he gets tired of doing so much work, but countless hours of his own time go into moderation and it is working well enough imo
