First of all, I apologize for making two forum threads in one day. But I felt this was worth posting.
My political philosophy may seem extreme or idiotic to many people, but regardless, I'd like to hear what you have to think about it.

My Political Philosophy on Globalism:
By C.E. Turner, AKA "Crescendo"

The Federal Government, a Government founded on the Constitution, which is founded on the principles of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, has gone sour.
For instance, the Fourth Amendment is being violated every day.
http://www.washingtonsblog.com...
http://www.washingtonsblog.com...
In fact, the Government would even go so far as to use "black boxes:"
http://www.myfoxdc.com...
http://www.nytimes.com...

Now, one might say, "These programs are not Constitutional violations. They are for our own protection, and they're minor things, really. It's not like things have become like 1984. I don't see the Thought Police or the KGB patrolling the streets and abducting people, do you?"
That may be true, but consider it: every time our Government has started a new initiative (be it new regulations or something else) that caused them to intrude more into a certain area of personal life or businesses, have they ever stopped at that one seemingly harmless measure?
I am not denying that many Federal regulations have been a good thing; but nevertheless, each one brings the Government one step closer into our personal lives.
By the way, here's what may be the future in Government intrusion:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk...
http://www.theguardian.com...
What happens when this technology is improved upon and legitimate mind scanning is possible?

http://www.infowars.com...

Anyway, my point is that even Governments founded on the principles of freedom can and will, given enough time, go sour, eventually violating the rights of their citizens and taking a downward spiral into tyranny.
Now, here's a question: if such a government emerges, what can you do about it? There are several options.
1. You can learn to live with it.
2. You can fight it
3. You can flee to another country

Now, if you are a person who would happily go to option number one, probably nothing I say here will convince you of anything. But if you are concerned at the direction things are going in, then please keep reading.

When severely outmatched and outgunned by the Federal Government, the only way to fight them would be through irregular (or Asymmetrical) warfare. But would this work? Big Brother is monitoring everything you do; such a method of resistance would be futile, as your location and identity would be discovered pretty quickly.
And whenever they discover who you are, they may use one of these two weapons on you:
1. Armed Drone
http://www.huffingtonpost.com...
http://en.wikipedia.org...
Now, these could kill you pretty easily, but here's what would do the job even better:
2. Laser Weapon
http://en.wikipedia.org...
http://books.google.com...
http://news.discovery.com...
Here's a quote provided by the article above:
"Plus, a laser beam moves at the speed of light, so at a range of a mile, it can hit its target in less than five-millionths of a second."
Also, these laser weapons, while expensive to build, are ridiculously cheap to use, and they can be used over and over again without running out of ammunition, since they do not run on ammunition.
Now, I admit that as of so far some details of these laser weapons may lacking, I guarantee that the technology will be improved upon to near perfection.

So clearly, whenever pinpoint government surveillance becomes combined with these devasting weapons, fighting against the Government through Irregular (Asymmetrical) warfare becomes virtually impossible unless you have the same equipment as they do.

Option Number Three is a good idea. Flee to another country where you can be free. HOWEVER, if the entire planet becomes united under a World Government, then what other country can you flee to when the whole world is under that same tyrannical government?
All that was mentioned above is an explanation why I am opposed to a global government:
1. It will, without any doubt, eventually grow corrupt.
2. You successfully cannot fight against it
3. Unless humanity by this time becomes capable of reaching other star systems and other habitable planets, one cannot flee anywhere to escape it.

Now, here is what I believe would the only successful preventive measures:
Form an alliance of nations that band together and refuse to be part of the UN. They would still allow trade and immigration to and from their alliance and nations outside it, but they would refuse to ever give up their sovereignty to a Global Federal Government (The United Nations). In fact, outside of trade and immigration and perhaps a few other things, this alliance would be quite uncooperative with the world community.
They would teach children in schools that a global government is evil and must be prevented, no matter which Government the world is united under. They would build all the newest tech weapons, such as laser weapons, possessed by outside nations as well as distribute the technology (or knowledge of the workings of this technology) to other nations which are not part of the UN Sovereignty. Also, there would be research into countermeasures to counter these new weapons. Knowledge of these countermeasures would also be given away to other nations freely.
The goal would be to establish a balance; no nation (ESPECIALLY the UN) would have such a large advantage over the other nations that it could conquer the world.
The goal would be an eternal balance, no nation rising too far above the others in regard to military might and other spheres. The United Nations must not gain too much of an advantage, and this Alliance of Anti-OWG Nations also must not gain too much of an advantage, otherwise one (under a corrupt government decades or centuries into the future) might seek to and successfully carry out the conquest of the other. And this must go on eternally. If aliens are discovered and humanity becomes able to easily contact them then mankind should be allowed to unite, but not a second before.

Now, there would be two options on what to do in regard to the number of nations:
A. Create many sovereign nations so that even if one gives in to the UN there'd still be free nations. The idea would be that around half of these nations would side with the Anti-OWG Alliance and the other half would side with the UN. If there aren't enough nations, then help a certain part of the UN gain its independence, turning it into its own separate nation. The Anti-OWG Alliance would give it access to the knowledge of newer military equipment (perhaps they'd even give the equipment to them) so that this new nation wouldn't be at a severe disadvantage. Also, if the Anti-OWG Alliance grows corrupt then another nation can take its place and if both the UN and the Anti-OWG Alliance grow corrupt there'd still be somewhere else for people to flee to.
The drawbacks are that all or most might side with one or the other, causing the World Government to come into effect after a one-sided World War.
B. Divide the world in half; one half belonging to the UN and one half belonging to the Anti-OWG Alliance. The drawbacks are that if one "gives in," or the Anti-OWG Alliance starts slowly compromising its principles until it finally reunites with the UN, the World Government would result. Also, if both grow corrupt, people would have nowhere to flee to.

Overall, the goal would be a divided yet peaceful, free, and prosperous world. This is the political philosophy which I believe in.

I can assure you that most of my sources are legitimate. Also, the infowars link is very well sourced.
