Linking documents as sources?

How to link a document, like an excel spreed sheet showing calculations and tables?

Yeah, I think that works, although I've never uploaded something from Excel to Google Docs. Microsoft Office isn't always super-compatible with Google Docs.

Another possibility is just to screen capture all the data and upload it as pictures to imgur or tinypic or something. If it's an image, you can embed it in the actual debate.

One of the reasons I wanted to get the excel document in there was so that people could see the equations and not just the numbers, that way they know they are correct. But of course, the picture is better than nothing.

hold ctrl+a and then hold ctrl press the top left button on your keyboard to the left of '1'.

I learned first hand not to link documents to the page. Just print screen them and post the image.
