You should talk to Kc1999.
Solonkr~
I don't care about whether an ideology is "necessary" or not,
I care about how to solve problems,
which is what everyone else should also care about.

In essence, the world is fucked up and you can either ignore it, become cynical or bitter about it.

I have a friend who said "fascism is fine without the nationalism and racism." But those two things make fascism.

Fascism doesn't entail racism, unless the kind of fascism you're talking about is national socialism.

Extreme nationalism implies racism.

You mean... Thailand? lol, it would appear so. Myanmar seems to be lightening it's grip, though.

Not all fascist parties are rascist. Another misconception is that all extreme right groups are fascist. My friends at right sector often unfoundly get called fascist.

Ehh... that still depends. To have extreme pride in one's nation (ethnic group) isn't necessarily to believe that others are inferior. It's only to take pride in one's nation.

Russia is fascist. Most people have trouble understanding the ideology. Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil used to be fascist countries believe it or not. Hyper capitalism under the guise of an authoritarian junta.

You would be surprised how many extreme right militarists there are.

Fascists believe in extreme nationalism, or nation states. Which are founded on the protection of a single group, whether it be ethnicity or social status.

Taiwan, yes. Brazil, sort of. North Korea, not really.

You mean exclusively? It is definitely drawing the line. Orthodox run schools, state run media, corporations with positions in power, protection of ethnic Russians through government programs or military.'

In what ways is it not a fascist state?

Fascists believe in extreme nationalism,

Not all fascists do, no. And moreover, even if one does believe that one's nation is privileged, that doesn't necessarily imply that one believes that other people have any less inherent value. I know it seems pedantic, but it's only in the interest of being precise.

The fascist 14 points certainly advocate extreme nationalism, and the establishment of a nation state. Do you know a fascist group that thinks otherwise?

The point is that fascism is a pretty complicated thing, and most people only think of fascism in terms of what the Nazi party line was. Fascism, as a political ideology, is more complex than that.

I know exactly what fascism is. I studied the interpretations of most proclaimed fascist governments and parties. The main principles were developed by Mussolini. Were some altered in diferent sects? Sure, but the core principles are held in common by most.

I know and am good friends with many fascists in real life.
