Did anyone else notice this? Koopin's signature:

"Marriage is an abomination at worst and an outdated religious rite at best."
-Lexicaholic, 2010 Presidential candidate.

Make the right choice, Ragnar_Rahl as President.

... Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Ragnar feels the exact same way. What a fail D:

Well, I dunno about that. I support his policy of removing it from government purview. But I would not call marriage an "abomination" or even necessarily a "religious rite," especially after such removal.

Anyway, I'm rather unconcerned about a cancer patient.

The left is unconcerned about this implied threat to rig the election by third-party candidate askbob.

As the current Attorney General, I will do everything in my power to prevent such a course of action.

Personally, I've recommended (though a weak recommendation) to use another voting option other then through DDOfans. But that got no momentum.

Given this new threat to the voting, that may well be the only option.

You guys do realize this was a joke?

It is quite clear that independent candidate Askbob is now seeking to pass off his threat to the DDO Election as a mere joke so that he can maintain his company's monopoly on DDO Voting Machines.

The DDO Reform Party does not take any internal or external threat to the well being of the denizens of DDO lightly.

But what would be a suitable alternative? I'm open for discussing and brain storming different ideas.

Creating a free online poll wouldn't be a very difficult task to accomplish.

True, but how could we prevent voter fraud? From people voting multiple times? If the online poll only uses emails addresses, it is easy to make 10 hotmail/yahoo/gmail accounts.

Thus DDOFans. Everyone has to be registered to vote, you can't change your vote, JBlake, and I (and i can make wjm) are admins and can see if any fraudulent activity occurs (fake registrations etc) and immediately remove it from the poll. I can also set a closing time of whoever's choice on the poll.

If we go this route, I think we should go with several temporary admins from both parties and non-party members (they can be de-admin-ized after the vote).

Well, who can we go with as an admin that we know will be absolutely neutral?

I'd most prefer 1 (if not 2) absolutely neutral person and 1 person from each side (preferably not the candidates or VPs).

But for the neutral person, if that is up for nominations, I would nominate Cody.
