What if you're using a book for references, but are using many different pages of it? Do you include them as many different sources??

let's say you reference Of Mice and Men page 23 (1).

Then, you reference page 24 (2).

Then, page 33 (3).

and then you have three different sources?

Should they be considered as ONE source or three different sources?

I'd consider it one source, but would use different footnotes, one for each page number.

You can usually just reference the book. At least on here no ones really going to call you on it and ask for stuff like that.

If writing a paper, your source would use a single citation with those individual pages listed. Example "p. 3, 5, 8, 13-15, 57"

Here just author and book title. We do not care about MLA, in fact voters are expected to skim links, not hunt down books.

No it's one single source. Use MLA formatting for the book. It makes it seem more creditable.
